On 1 July 2016, Justin and Lefranc were murdered in a Kensington Market-area lounge in Toronto, Ontario. The families of these two men, along with the Toronto Police, are still seeking information.
As of May 2021, their case remains unsolved.

Justin, a professional skateboarder, was known to dominate the local skate scene in Totonto. He is deeply missed by his parents, brother, niece and many friends.
Lefranc, a beloved father of two, is remembered as a calm, loving, and joyful man.
